Jada’s Dynamic Duo
I was looking for hair products with natural ingredients because I was curious to see if they would actually work on my hair type. My aunt recommended Carol’s Daughter, and I’m so glad she did.
Lisa’s Hair Elixir is the first product. I love how it moisturizes my hair without leaving it greasy. I also like how it has peppermint oil in it so my hair doesn’t end up smelling like a garden.
I use it when my hair is dry, usually after I flat iron it or when it needs a bit of moisture. It also makes a great hot oil treatment. When I do this though, I usually mix a 50/50 ratio with olive oil to save money.
The next product is the Hair Balm. It has a really sweet smell because it’s made with sweet almond and coconut oil. I also use this when my hair is dry. This liquid pomade is great for taming flyaways or when my hair gets a bit poofy from the weather. The only downside is that the bottle is only 4 ounces (118 ml) as compared to the elixir, in which you get twice the amount.
Overall I would recommend this product to my fellow curly girls. Even though I think $30 + is a bit pricy, I believe the balm and elixir are worth it. I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my hair in only a few months. It’s not nearly as crunchy as it used to be and there seems to be less breakage.
I wasn’t paid to endorse these products, I bought them on my own free will. If you would like more information on these products click here.
